Get lunch from here AT LEAST once a week, LJ's is the bomb. Favorite hands down is the LJ's Omelette. Great service, good people.

Had a great breakfast bagel this morning. The bagel was a nice chewy crust and was big. The sandwich had plenty of ham, egg and cheese. It was hot, delicious and only took three minutes.

Since it was below freezing outside, I decided to order takeout from LJ's Cafe, a deli highly recommended by many coworkers. The website estimated my food order to be delivered by 12:07am but I arrived almost an hour later despite being two blocks away.
I ordered a Caesar Salad and a Super Quesadilla. I'll admit that the Caesar salad wasn't appetizing. The romaine was fresh and salad dressing was okay but the salad was loaded with grated cheese. I felt like the cheese should have served on the side. On the other hand, I loved the
Super Quesadilla, flour tortilla stuffed with tomato, corn, black beans, chicken, and cheese. It was served with chips and mildly spicy salsa and a lot of sour cream. The tortilla chips should have been put in a bag away from the wet ingredients. The chips weren't crunchy by the time they arrived. -

I have to give LJ & his wife who runs the other cafe across the walk way from our building, top stars. It's a family owned business who treats their staff & customers like FAM.
You'd be amazed at the selection of food they offer and of course the humble prices. I use LJ's 1 for take out as most of my co-workers goes there, a handful eat in. For delivery, we use LJ's 2 where his wife operates from a non-access building...thanks Lockheed :-)
You can get a full breakfast and or lunch for under $5-$10 & not just the average bagel/coffee & sandwich/chips. They have a FRESH salad & fruit bar, a hot bar with a great variety of diverse cuisine. I've seen co-workers come back with meatball hoagies to stir fry.
At least once a week sometimes twice, I get the Mama Kat special which LJ's 1 makes especially for me. The ingredients:
Spinach, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, dried cranberries & extra hummus on a Spinach Wrap, a bottle of Calypso Lemonade & a bag of Veggie Chips, all under $10...delicious!
I use their catering services most times for our client meetings as they also offer special box lunches. They even offer Frequent Foodie cards.
The best way to spend lunch & a few dollars during the work week.
